Its been a while since I've shared pictures of the elk but yesterday I got some very strange looking photos of them so I thought I'd make a special post highlighting them. There are silly faces that I just found adorable and a YouTube video of mother and baby that is also funny...at least to me.

This is so funny, the baby is sticking it's tongue out while Mama's back is turned.
The baby stretched it's neck out letting Mama lick it's head, so cute.
Disclaimer; Last night I saw them sleeping but they were too far and it was too dark to take any photos. All I could see their pale butts in the glow of the street lights. If you know anything about elk, they have pale butts and if you can see any part of them in the dark it is their pale butt.
