Since Halloween is just around the corner, I decided to make some spooky plant stakes out of copper wire. Now this wire I got is recycled, it's electrical wire I stripped the plastic coating off of (which is a huge pain and sort of dangerous to use a razor knife to do so but that's the only way I know how to do it.) I would have turned this post into a tutorial but once I get started on making wire creations I can't stop in the middle or I forget what I'm making because I don't usually start out with a plan.
Now I love Halloween, its the whole atmosphere of witches, ghosts and black cats. I love black cats, they're so cute. Never turn down a cat as your new pet just because it's a black cat. I seriously don't know why anyone would but apparently they do. Anyway I wanted to show you the plant stakes I created, please use the design as inspiration to create your own, all these were made free hand without wire jigs.
Sorry about the quality of the pictures, I actually did my best with these but for some reason copper wire is such a simple little thing that my camera makes the pictures look awful. Things probably would have been different had I owned a tripod but I've yet to find one for a reasonable (cheap) price that will also work for my device. I hope they aren't too blurry for you to see them well enough to be inspired.
Disclaimer; Since these works are my original property, please only make these for yourself or to be given away for free. Thanks and I hope you enjoy adding a little bit of spook to your garden this Halloween.
