A peek at my town during Christmas.

     It's almost Christmas and the ground is free of snow up here in the Bitterroot mountains of Idaho, more specifically a town called Wallace. Mom and I decided we needed some pictures of some of the Christmas displays, it was getting dark so the lights were on. We took our side-by-side out, yes in the cold and no jeans do not keep your legs warm at all when you are riding in a vehicle with no actual doors on it.

I stumbled upon a Santa meeting,
I know it was wrong but I had to see,
If I was on the Naughty or Nice list.

Look how many Santas there are, some of them look really old.

With all these Santas around, mister polar bear stands out.

You probably can't see in this picture but there is one Santa protesting on the tunnel roof.

Oh now you can see the protesting Santa. I wonder what he's trying to say.

I got to personally meet some of the Santas,

     A few of the shops were still open and lit up. I have been in most of the shops in town at least once. The cool part was, the streets were almost lifeless, just a woman walking her dog, a few people at their cars and Christmas music filled the town. I am completely serious, there was Christmas music playing out onto the street. It wasn't too loud to be noticed right away and it wasn't too soft you couldn't hear what was being played. (Not that I remember the song I heard, I'm actually really bad at that.)

There are seven Santas in this picture. SEVEN SANTAS!!!

I like this window display but I'm a little concerned about the
damage the infection of elves can cause. At least Santa is there to
keep the elves from getting away with too much mischief before Christmas.

Not sure when the sign was put up (Can't tell you when the free beer is)
but the sign looks pretty cool. I like the miner logo on their window.

Elves, they are either helping set up the display or hiding pranks.
The one on the left looks especially mischievous. There are a lot
more elves in this window but I could only capture two on film.

Disclaimer, okay so I didn't get to find out what list I was on, probably not the nice one after all that spying I did and I heard a few too many things about why one Mr. Claus was banished to the roof and all I can say is he shouldn't have gotten into the eggnog so early before the party.
